What is vinegar? Vinegar is made by fermenting wine or cider. This process gives it a sharper and much more acidic taste compared to balsamic vinegar.
Vinegar is often used as a dressing along with olive oil in salads (vinaigrette) and is also great for use in sauces, pickling, and for enhancing acidity in various dishes.
